SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning product disables the speed limiter on the e-bike and you can enjoy riding at unlimited speed. After the product is installed, your e-bike’s display will show real data, such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and cruising range. Thanks to SpeedBox App mobile application you can monitor and store all the parameters of your trip on the display of your phone in any place, anytime.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning for Specialized work?

SpeedBox is installed into the e-bike frame under the TCU/ TCD unit. You will activate the tuning by switching the e-bike off and on twice. After that, the tuning is still active with a set maximum assistance speed of 50 km/h.

You can set the maximum speed limit of your own choice in the App or by switching the modes from TURBO mode three levels down and then three levels up (TRAIL - ECO - OFF - ECO - TRAIL - TURBO). The display will show the maximum speed limit of 25 km/h. With each brief activation of the WALK function, you will increase the maximum speed limit by 5 km/h (some types of displays may round up the number to the nearest whole number). The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity. The set limit must be confirmed by turning the e-bike off and on twice.

You can check the currently set maximum speed limit in the App or by pressing the + - + - button combination.

SpeedBox App for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning for Specialized

SpeedBox App is an application specially designed for SpeedBox B.Tuning products. It uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your mobile phone. After downloading the application and connecting your mobile phone to your e-bike you will see current data and trip parameters displayed on your phone. Individual trips can be stored so that the results can be compared with friends and together they can monitor their performance.

Download SpeedBox App to your phone just before ordering the SpeedBox B.Tuning chip. You can try out our demo version and get to know all the awesome features and, at the same time, make sure that the application is fully functional on your phone. To connect to the SpeedBox B.Tuning chip, your phone needs to be equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.

Assembly

When connecting the SpeedBox to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning product is just as easy. If you need any help, feel free to contact us anytime.

If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 10 km before the product is activated.

If you want to uninstall SpeedBox (e.g. to update the firmware):

1) Set the maximum assistance speed to 25 km/h by successively switching the modes three levels down and then three levels up. Then save the setting by turning the e-bike off and on twice.

2) Turn off the e-bike again and uninstall the SpeedBox from the e-bike frame.

3) Update the software if you need.

4) Install the SpeedBox back into the e-bike and then switch the e-bike off and on twice. After that, the tuning will be still active.
