SpeedBox for Shimano E8000, E7000, E6100 & E5000 is a process control module which increases the maximum speed of your electric bike from 25 km/h to 50 km/h. The display will only present speeds at half their actual values.

If you do not have lights installed by a certified service technician, the tuning kit is always active from the moment you turn your bike on.

If you have lights on your ebike, which have been installed by a certified service technician, then you will be able to activate or deactivate your SpeedBox.
Lights on → SpeedBox is deactivated
Lights off → SpeedBox is activated

If you prefer to have your lights on and the SpeedBox activated at the same time, then do not connect the red wire of the SpeedBox to your drive.

Focus Jam with E8000 (no di2). I bought a sensor and i got error message once installed : W011. I unplugged and plug again, same result. What can I do?

I don’t have the rear sensor. I used the original sensor located at the rear, almost at the disk position.

Hello Pierre. Please use force while connecting SpeedBox with speed sensor. I think there is a problem in contact between these two.

Julian 15. 03. 2019, 16:32

Hello,I have a Kola Pace S20, my sensor is located behind the brake disc. Is it possible to use the speedbox with the original sensor?

Jiří Voldán (Sales Manager) Administrator 15. 03. 2019 | 16:32

Hi Julian. What kind of motor is there?

David 05. 02. 2019, 14:49

Hi! I want to know if in low gear, when the speedbox is activate, on a Shimano steps 8000, could create error because the speed is too low? Thanks. (Sorry for my english, i'm french)

Jiří Voldán (Sales Manager) Administrator 05. 02. 2019 | 14:49

Hi David. Well it doesn't really make sense. You can feel the SpeedBox when you ride over 25 kmh. I mean, SpeedBox don't have to be activated when you ride slow. SpeedBox is meant to be used when you want to ride fast, not slow.

Will this work with current Shimano e8000 firmware update?

Jiří Voldán (Sales Manager) Administrator 19. 12. 2018 | 18:17

Hi, yes there will be no problem.
