SpeedBox for Giant 2017-2018 is a revolutionary process-control module which suppresses the speed limiter of your electric bike.
The display will show the actual speed, also other data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance travelled and range are correctly displayed.

If you have a new bike which hasn't been ridden at all, you must ride it at least 1 or 2 kilometers before you install the SpeedBox tuning kit.

The SpeedBox tuning kit is activated by briefly pressing the WALK button, which is located at the front of the control panel. After pressing this button, the current speed of 9.9 km/h will be displayed on the control panel for about 3 seconds. This confirms that the SpeedBox  tuning kit has been activated, and the supplementary assistance of your electric motor now works up to a speed of 99 km/h.

When the WALK button is pressed again, the current speed of 2.5 km/h will be displayed. This confirms that the SpeedBox tuning kit has been deactivated, and everything will work as if the speedbox had never been installed. The supplementary assistance of your electric bike now works up to its original speed limit of 25 km/h.

Quick E+ 2019. I have the Speedbox 2 Giant 2019 but the only connector on the bike that fits the smaller connector on the speed box is the red one, which doesnt not seem right when i look at the video. There is another small connector buts its a different shape to the speedboxes one. Have i missed something or should i get different speedbox 2 model?

Hi Richard. You did not find right connectors yet. Find speed sensor cable. It's only cable which comes from rear wheel. Folow the cable until you will find it's connectors. They are hidden in a frame but they can be easilly pulled out. Use them for SpeedBox installation.

I live in Canada and have a 2018 Giant Quick E with a cutoff speed of 32 km/h. Will the Speedbox 2 or Premium work on my bike? Will my speed options now drop to 25 km/h and 99 km/h or will the lower speed stay at 32km/h with an upper limit of 99 km/h?
Thank you

Hi Terry, SpeedBox will work. Lower limit remains same.

Can you assist with this question.

In the description says that after deactivating the speed box my ebike will go back to 25 km/h limit,.
I have a Giant E-Bike Explore E+ 3 GTS 2018 and in Canada is limited to 32 km/h (20 mph). My question is if i install speed box platinum will my E bike go down to 25 km/h after deactivating Speed Box?
Or it will go back to the original 20 mph?
Waiting for your answer.
